The journal of Incidents and Disasters Resilience (IDR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access quarterly publication dedicated to advancing the scientific understanding and practical management of disasters and crises. The journal aims to serve as a leading interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and academics to disseminate original research, review articles, and scholarly contributions that address the full spectrum of disaster management, from risk prevention and preparedness to response, recovery, and resilience-building. The  journal of Incidents and Disasters Resilience (IDR) is committed to:

Scope

The journal of Incidents and Disasters Resilience (IDR)  covers a broad and interdisciplinary range of topics within the field of disaster and crisis management. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following subject areas:

• Disaster and Crisis Management – Comprehensive approaches to managing natural and man-made disasters and crises;

• Risk Reduction – Strategies, theories, and models for preventing and mitigating disaster risks, including early warning indicators, forecasting, damage estimation, and risk assessment models;

• Disaster Preparedness – Planning, training, and capacity-building efforts to enhance readiness for potential disasters;

• Disaster and Accident Response – Emergency response operations, coordination, and immediate actions during and after incidents;

• Post-Disaster Reconstruction and Recovery – Rehabilitation, reconstruction, and long-term recovery processes following disasters;

• Resilience – Building individual, community, and systemic resilience to withstand, adapt to, and recover from disasters;
